It’s 4 PM, I’m looking at my health tracker already 11K steps today & with a weekly average of 12K..


But how do we keep this up while juggling social plans, networking events, and work? 

Here’s my go-to for hitting  10K steps a day for a wealthier and healthier you.


Why 10K Steps Matter

• Boosts your mood (instant dopamine hit)

• Clears your head faster than any mindfulness app

• Improves blood flow, heart health, and digestion

• Balances hormones and stress levels

• Burns calories without feeling like a workout

• And maybe the best part: walking gives you clarity — your best ideas show up mid-step


How to Actually Get Those 10K Steps In

1. Make it automaticFind your “walk moment.”When could you move instead of sit?Groceries, commute, gym — or just after lunch or after work.Evening walks count too, especially the ones with a podcast and no destination.

2. No excusesRain, cold, heat — none of them matter.Read further why…

3. Add movement to what you already do


Take calls while walking.

Scroll, brainstorm, even journal on your phone — while your legs move.



And here’s the mind trick:

If your brain thinks walking “takes too much time,” change the setting, not the habit.A walking pad turns any thing  into your 10K-step zone.
