How to plan your week effectively & aligned

I love to plan my week every Sunday. I take about an hour to review, reflect, and plan what’s coming next. It gives me clarity about my tasks, helps me see what needs preparation, and keeps me focused on what’s actually valuable instead of just what feels urgent. When my week is planned with intention, I feel more grounded, productive, and calm, not just busy.
Here’s my simple way to create a happy, fulfilling, and goal-based week:
1. Review your last week.
What made you feel happiest or most proud? What drained you or didn’t feel aligned?Do more of what made you light up, and try to reduce, delegate, or adjust what didn’t. Progress comes from refining, not just adding.
2. Add what’s most important.
Think about your priorities: friends, work tasks, workouts, health, or bigger moments like birthdays or celebrations.Start with these, they’re your non-negotiables. Put them in your calendar first before
3. Choose your must-haves and small actions.Pick 2–3 small actions that move you closer to your goals. These are your weekly anchors,things that actually matter long-term.
4. Be realistic about your time.
Add buffer moments: travel time, lunch breaks, random delays, and things you often “forget” to plan for. Life happens, your schedule should breathe, not suffocate you.
